What to Wear When Travelling to Bali –

Undeterred by its strong traditions and customs, the Balinese people exhibit a very welcoming culture. The only strict dress codes apply when you visit religious sites. The rest of the island’s hotspots, you can roam freely in any kind of attire you desire. The weather in Bali is mostly hot, all year round; with lots of tropical activities to keep you entertained – it’s the kind of travel destination that allows easy packing: board shorts, bikinis, beach shorts, resort wear, tank tops and tees. Don’t forget your swimwear! Bring a hat, and lots of sunscreen to avoid a sunburn.

There are only two seasons in Bali: dry and rainy. The rainy season generally begins in October and ends in mid-to-late March. Depending on whether you’re visiting the lush and shady mountains in Ubud, or picturesque beaches of Seminyak – it would be wise to bring a poncho with you – in Bali, when it rains, it pours!

Whatever you’re doing in Bali – catching a wave, swimming, kicking a boogie board, hiking in the jungle, practicing your down dog at one of Bali’s many yoga studios, or just hanging out – shorts that stretch and move with you are important. If any one pair was responsible for launching the swimwear-as-shorts movement in 2021, it’d be Bistro St. Tropez.

Discover the extensive range of feature packed board shorts, flashy resort wear, and luxe swimwear – at the most affordable prices anywhere! When venturing into Bali paradise – wear the feeling!
